Lava Lamp

Today we are going to make a lava Lamp
What you'll need

1. A cup or bottle
2. Water
3. Cooking oil
4. Alka Seltzer
5. Food Coloring

Steps

1. Step 1: Take your cup or bottle and fill 1/4 of it with water. 
2. Step 2: Then fill the rest of the cup with water
3. Then fill the rest of the cup or bottle with cooking oil.
4. Step 3: Then put 8 drops of food coloring of your choice inside the cup (Notice that the food coloring goes down like rain drops)
5. Step 4:Then Cut the Alka Seltzer into quarters and drop on of them into the cup

Results

Since cooking oil is denser then the water, the cooking oil is on the top. The Alka Seltzer is fizzy so it makes the liquid bubble.
